Dan Medaglia

SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 10, 2022) – Catamount Constructors, Inc., a 100% employee-owned ENR Top 400 Contractor, announces the promotion of Dan Medaglia, CHST to Director of Safety for the San Antonio and Catamount Industrial Group (“CIG”) divisions.

With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and safety-related positions, Medaglia is a seasoned professional. He has developed safety programs for companies across the industry since 2002, and stays up to date with other safety professionals, related education, and training to ensure consistent program development. He started at Catamount in 2019 as a Site Safety Officer, before being promoted to Safety Manager, and most recently Director of Safety. In his new role, he will oversee all phases of projects concerning health and safety; hold weekly audits, sitewide safety meetings, and orientations; and oversee all records required per OSHA. Dan will also manage all Site Safety Officers and Safety Managers in the San Antonio and CIG divisions, including ensuring all compliance and audits are performed correctly and upholding training requirements.

Medaglia holds over 30 industry certifications, including Construction Health and Safety Technician (“CHST”) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and OSHA 10-30 and 500 authorized instructor. He is a member of the CEA-Construction Safety Council and ASSP-American Society of Safety Professionals.
