Catamount Constructors have recently completed Bright Star Logistics Center Phase 2, representing the third project our team delivered at the Bright Star project site in Douglasville, GA for The Silverman Group. The 271,875 square foot, design-build, ground-up, tilt wall building was an addition to an existing warehouse. The expansion of the space will provide another 70 dock doors and additional concrete paving for dock doors and trailer parking at the property. The scope of work included concrete tilt walls, slab-on-grade, structural steel frame, TPO roofing, storefront, and finishes. The team faced the unique challenge of coordinating with the existing building architecture and the tenant on the new addition.

Catamount’s previous two projects with the Silverman Group on this property included Bright Star Phase 3 and Bright Star Phase 3 tenant build-outs. Phase 3 consisted of a 335,200 square-foot ground-up tilt-wall distribution center with 86 dock doors and site concrete. Bright Star Logistics Center Phase 3 tenant build-outs included 3 separate tenant space build-outs in the Phase 3 distribution center building. The scope of work involved the installation of dock equipment and 11,500 square feet of office space. After the completion of Bright Star Phase 2, we have delivered 607,075 total square feet on the Bright Star property.

Our teams were awarded the upcoming Bright Star Phase 4 project, our fourth project on the Bright Star project site. This 500,400 square-foot design-build tilt warehouse will feature a cross-dock configuration, 40-foot clear ceiling height, ample doors, and an abundant amount of truck and trailer storage.

Catamount values repeat clients and we look forward to continuing our relationship with The Silverman Group on this next phase at Bright Star, which marks our fourth total project with their team.
