Gwinnett County Police Tactical Shoot House Training Facility

The Gwinnett County Police Training Center project is a 9,600 SF pre-engineered single-story metal building for officers training how to handle hostage situations within a home. The interior scope of the building simulates the interior of a house with only solid steel wall panels in lieu of drywall and metal studs. The training center campus includes a driving track, an indoor 25-yard and 100-yard firing range, a shoot house, and an education building with six classrooms, a weight room, a library, driving and firearms simulators, and a defensive tactics room. The main building includes an upper level grated steel catwalk enabling instructors to watch tactical exercises from above.
