Kanab Office Building & Site Development

The Kanab Office Building & Site Development project, located in the relatively remote area of Southern Utah, consists of the Bureau of Land Management consolidating two offices into one 16,350 energy-efficient building. This building serves as the headquarters for the BLM’s Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and houses the staff of the BLM Kanab Field Office. The scope of work included three components: a five-acre site development with parking lots, covered storage, a solar canopy parking area and parking stalls, an 8,300 SF PEMB warehouse, and a single-level administrative building that is 30% more efficient than a minimum-code compliant building. The project is certified LEED Gold from the U.S. Green Building Council.
