Build-to-Rent operations leader joins Catamount to drive the next chapter of growth for ArchType®, its Build-to-Rent solution

Catamount announced that Josh Presits has joined the company as Vice President, BTR leading ArchType®, its Build-to-Rent solution.

Presits joins Catamount from Onyx+East, an award-winning homebuilder and one of the Midwest’s most active Build-to-Rent developers and contractors, where he spent seven years delivering single-family rental communities across multiple markets. Before that, he worked at PulteGroup, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, and began his career as a carpenter and estimator at Martin Brothers Contracting, a high-end custom homebuilder. His career has been built at the operational core of residential construction, from estimating and field management to leading the delivery of entire single-family rental communities.

Presits will lead ArchType®, Catamount’s ready-to-build solution for the Build-to-Rent market. ArchType® gives developers a kit of proven, pre-designed plans that streamlines design and construction, reduces risk, and provides cost certainty on single-family rental communities. He steps into the role as Bernida Chapman, who was instrumental in developing and launching ArchType®, moves into a new role leading Catamount’s senior living work. Presits will guide the solution’s continued growth as a core part of the company’s Build-to-Rent offering.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University and is a U.S. Army veteran.
