Kaibeto Boarding School

Catamount achieved LEED Silver certification on this design-build K-8 school campus totaling 61,900 SF. The campus included new construction of a 42-bed dormitory totaling 12,000 SF, and 12 faculty housing units totaling 3,700 SF. The scope of work included asbestos abatement and demolition of the existing school, dormitory, administration, and cafeteria buildings. The site development included repaving of existing roads, a 200,000 gallon water tower, new underground water utility piping, new sanitary sewer piping, new storm water piping, sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation, two new baseball fields, outdoor basketball courts, new playground structures, and perimeter fencing.
